Rudra Ji Vice President, Assam Bangiya Jyotish and Tantrik Society (Kolkata, 800 years old)

Rudra Ji holds a revered position as the Vice President of the 800-year-old Assam Bangiya Jyotish and Tantrik Society in Kolkata. He is deeply connected to the spiritual heritage of Tara Shakti Peeth and Kamakhiya Devi Peeth, where he has earned a special place of respect. Known for organizing Maha Yagyas in sacred Maha Shamshans, he performs authentic Tantrik practices, invoking the goddesses for peace and prosperity in people’s lives.

Practicing Vedic traditions since the age of 9, Rudra Ji was trained in the Guru Shishya Parampara under the guidance of Shree Paramhans Dyal Ji Maharaj. With over 25 years of experience in Astrology and Vastu, his approach remains rooted in the traditional ways of Vedic sciences, strictly following the path laid out by his Gurus.

Yagya Highlights

1.5 Lakh Mantra Jaap

A major highlight of this year’s *Kaal Bhairav Mahayagya* is the *1.5 lakh mantra japa, a sacred recitation performed to invoke the divine presence and energy of Lord Bhairav. The chanting will commence precisely at **11:15 AM, led by **11 expert Vedic pandits* well-versed in the mantras and rituals of Bhairav Sadhana. Through this powerful collective vibration, the sacred space will be energized, and the subtle dimensions will be awakened to receive divine grace and protection.

Each mantra carries the seed of transformation — purifying the surroundings, harmonizing cosmic energies, and aligning the participants with the frequency of Bhairav’s fierce yet benevolent power. As the 1.5 lakh chants resonate, they create a spiritual shield, dissolving negativity, karmic burdens, and inner disturbances, while invoking prosperity, strength, and clarity. This grand japa is not just a ritual — it is a living invocation that opens the gateway to *divine protection, spiritual elevation, and deep inner awakening*.

Raksha Sutra

At the end of the session, participants will receive a Raksha Kavacham or Raksha Sutra—a sacred thread offering protection from harm and evil forces. This thread ensures divine guidance in making the right choices and living a life of good deeds.

Crafted with two Kamalgatta beads at the center, the sutra symbolizes Shiva and Shakti (space and time), bound by knots that represent the cosmic union of these forces. Surrounding the central beads are two red Chandan beads, favored by Kaal Bhairava, followed by four knots on each side, symbolizing the Ashta Bhairavas (eight forms of Bhairava). These knots, infused with mystic power, align time and space to the auspicious Ashtami, invoking the blessings of the eight Lakshmis, bringing prosperity and protection into life.

Every year, one of the Ashta Bhairavas is designated as the Pradhan Bhairav (Chief Bhairav) for that year. The significance of the Pradhan Bhairav determines the type of results that are prioritized during the Yagya. This year, Unmatta Bhairav, known for awakening higher consciousness and freeing devotees from llusions and attachments, is the chief, making spiritual liberation, clarity, and transcendence the focus. Varahi Devi, his consort, strengthens these results by grounding the intense transformative energy. This year’s Yagya combines traditional Vedic and Tantrik practices, performed under the guidance of experienced priests and Tantriks, offering deep inner purification and spiritual awakening for all attendees.
